Framing

The framing is the street view and the brooklyn bridge under a freeway or a train tracks.

Lines

The lines are in the aftermath of the twin towers, the crane, and the offices right next to it.

The rule of thirds

The rule of thirds is the light most is the center of the picture but its surrounded with other buildings and  the aftermath of the falling towers.

Perspective

The perspective is the the ariel view of lower Manhattan during 9/11

cropping

The balance is plane 175 crashing into the south side of tower 2 and its cropped to tower 1 burning and tower 2 just seconds before impact.

Great black and white photographers part 2

Gary Winogrand was born in New York city on January 14, 1928 and died March 14, 1984 in Tijuana,  Mexico. He studied painting and photography at Colombia university in 1948.
Garys famous work

My top 3 greatest photos from the top 40

I picked this photo because Tommie smith and John Carlos saluted the Black power fist to support solidarity with people fighting internationally for human rights. What attracted me to this photo was that they wanted to show who and what they support. It made the top 40 because they were marked as heroes and they got kicked out of the Olympics for this.

I choose this photo because on June 6, 1944 when the U.S. stormed normandy it was bad because we lost at least 12,000 men and we won the battle which was a turning point in World War 2. What attracted me to this photo was looking at the beach from a soldiers view and how many movies have used D-day in WW2 movies. It made the top 40 because its great photo of actual war its almost like your storming the beach with those men.

I picked this photo because its so sad to see a father kneeling at his sons name on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 to me it just shows that a father loves and misses his son so much and just wished he could spend another day with him. This photo made me gravitate because its been 10 years that his son was taken from him and just the love that he shows supports the whole picture.

The top photo is the worst because i need a haircut and i kinda look like a nerd but hard work always pays off.

The bottom photo is the best because its a good smile nice clothes the flash on the camera brings more light to the photo.
